Omega-3 and Omega-6 for managing behaviour

This is, I think helpful, for Autistic people who struggle with their behaviour. I myself in the past used to be more impulsive and emotionally hysterical before I started eating more Omega 3 and less Omega 6.

A basic guide:

Cheese, Beef, Lamb and Game Meat are all high in Omega 3 and low in Omega 6. Fish are even better, in that respect, as they're very high in Omega 3.

Pork, chicken and eggs are all quite high in Omega 6 and not too high in Omega 3.

When choosing a cooking oil, the best to use are any that aren't high in Omega 6 and those are butter, lard, olive oil, avocado oil and coconut oil. It can be helpful to avoid products that already have the cooking oils in that aren't among the ones I listed as they are going to be high in Omega 6.

  • Well, today I discovered that using my O/H's new airfryer I can produce a pair of really, really, good bacon baps in 10 minutes flat, includng baking the (Paul Hollywoood) rolls.

AND cleaning up afterwards is simple and a small task. Bacon might well be featuring a much larger part in my life from now on.

It also makes small thin fries better than McDonalds ever could.

I have NEVER got anything like enthusiastic before about cooking, this thing is a game changer...
