Not many Harry Potter fans I’m guessing so let’s try this one. If you were on a desert island for a week what would you take with you. You cannot take your phone another person or your pet.
I would take a load of Lego sets as I love the Lego sets for adults and I would just love a week of just building Lego enjoying the peace and quiet of the island. Over to you guys now what would you take with you if you were on a desert island for a week?
Why do they call it a thousand and one items? Why not round it up to a thousand so it is easier to count and put the next item in the next thousand items one may have?

I like that idea and will join you for a week.
Can I have some New York Cheesecake please.
When we pack our bags to go I will make a list of desserts to be made to order.
I'm afraid I'm no good at cooking but I'm very good at eating (as long as it has the right colour, flavour, texture, consistency, smell etc).
A dessert island I could do - Sticky Toffee Pudding for sure. But only if it's properly Cumbrian!
A desert island - the dog. He could fish for himself and catch coconuts for me!
If you look at your original post, you do not specify that you are imposing a single item to be taken. Nowhere in it does it say 'one item', just, "If you were on a desert island for a week what would you take with you". You may have intended to reference 'Desert Island Discs', where only one luxury item is allowed, but you did not make this connection concrete. You are dealing with a lot of quite literal-minded people here, hint, we are autistic.
That's cheating Debbie ! ONE thing does not include the thousands of items inside !lol
My local Tesco Extra shop, fully stocked.
You just reminded me of the book by Lesley Sims. I read it to the kiddies at the preschool nursery I work at. ️
That's a good one.
Yi-ha !
Hah that was funny
I would bring a car door with me so i can wind the window down when it gets hot.
Actually I changed my mind I would take my chess set. It's fun, interesting and keeps my brain healthy. ️
Awh nice, that's something to look forward to. I'm allergic to fur and can't have dogs and cats which is such a shame because I love both.
Goat in a boat!
I would bring a boat.
One item only
Food, sparkling water and Dr Squach soap for my basics. Also huge wooden crate full of a dismantled motorbike and a manual to put it together, and if I want some quiet time I can get in the crate and close the lid shut.
I miss my dog she in Scotland with my dad living there at the moment when I move out of my flat and into my dads house she come back to live with me then.
Your cat in your pic? I wouldn't want to be away from the cat either it's totally gorgeous ️
