Feels like there are too many arguements and too much nasty name calling and labelling on this forum. I am going to try to do one positive post every time I go on here
So todays one is say one beautiful thing you saw today
Mine is a female blackbird sitting in my garden
Whats yours?
Lovely photo!
This one appeared during my trip to Donegal last week. Made for a dramatic contrast.
I was lucky enough to be up early so I went to the highest field of the estate and sat and watched the sun come up. It was a truly beautiful sight to see and I feel lucky to have witnessed such an amazing sight.
I watched the phantom of the opera. And damn, was it brilliant.
Saw the squirrel who's been living in the tree at the back of my garden.
I crept up the garden path to get close enough, I'm sure I looked like a lunatic.
Wow, that's a lovely picture.
My son went for a bike ride after a busy day at school and sent a picture he took of a heron.
My beautiful thing today has been my great spotted woodpecker visiting my suet block feeder again:
Young fox taking a stroll through one of the fields of my estate. Not sure where its mummy and daddy were though. Hunting possibly?
High tide on the river Fal this morning, viewed from the bus.
My diner, when it is finally ready! I am cooking Moroccan lemon chicken with olives.
As for anything else..... well one of my cats always wants to go out and sit in the grass, I take her walkies on a lead. Not beautiful exactly, but an earthworm certainly vsihjt her attention and made her curious.

Thank you.
It was taken at East Wittering on the seashore.
He/she was busy hunting so we got relatively close although getting a bird of prey sharp at 100% is nigh impossible for me.
They won't sit still and say 'cheese'!

Isle of Wight.
Theoretically, they should be flying over my garden as I'm near Portsmouth, but if they are, I'm never looking up, sadly.
Good point.
Thank you

The trouble with birds of prey is they are usually too far away even for my 'superzoom' camera.
I'm very jealous of Roy who has red kites landing in his garden!
Mind you, I suspect that the local wildlife would be relieved it doesn't happen here.
If they heard it was going to happen I reckon they'd start a petition.
VERY impressive shot Debbie ! Excellent !
