Does anyone like ecstatic dancing?. I would like to try it home for fun. Feel free to share your favourite ecstatic music!

People could roll around on the floor, jump, wave or do whatever they feel like. It doesn't have to be a dance move. Any move is ok while keeping the attention on how it feels... Just go with it works well but it's like really go with it hehe
Wow! Yes!
I practice Anna Halprin dance every day even if for just 20 minutes. Anna Halprin’s method is all movement is dance. I just pause a kind of temporary meditation feel into it and follow what my body/mind wants to do. I start with classical music and then rock. It may not be ecstatic at first but can lead to it. It’s good because I don’t need a beat but beat might come in.
My ecstatic dance is attending a local Freak Out Psychedelic Rock disco. I can’t stop even though I have to wear ear plugs because of Autism. I love to freak out!!
Oh that sounds relaxing, like when people say "just go with it" on a dancefloor?
"Ecstatic dancing" makes me think of what happens at Jewish weddings and Simchat Torah celebrations. No thank you. I'm pretty sure this isn't what you mean, though.
I R only do Victory Dance!
You say ecstatic dancing I think of something like this https://youtu.be/LQ-Tlk6IADo
I can define it the way I understand it, the way I like it hehe.
It's the mix between meditation and body movement. Letting your body move freely in response to the music while you focus your attention on how those movements feel in the body. I think of yoga as the mix between sport and meditation and of ecstatic dancing as the mix between dancing and meditation
Can you define ecstatic dancing? I'm not sure the definition I found on the internet search engine is reliable...
