Good evening. I hope you're having a lovely evening.
Good evening all, just bumping the thread to get as many users involved as possible.
Best wishes,

Introduce reactions eg Like, Love, Sad, Hug
I'm not a fan of the downvote. Specifically because most of us have encountered this most of our life. Downvote/rejection and then radio silence or just ghosted. No help understanding what went wrong with the interaction and that little element - HELP with social matters is what this forum is useful for.
Autistics aren't afraid to over explain a thing or articulate a matter. We don't hear this as anything but a kindness.
No one is obliged to help or somedays, might not be able to access words very well. Voting up can be a form of "I agree" but voting down is rarely useful. And anyway there are enough social sites to garner votes and approvals if that's what you need :)
Reactions are more appropriate for posts. There's been times where I wished I could offer a hug to someone but an Upvote didn't seem appropriate.
Please let us know if you decide to add a reactions feature to the forum.
I'm all for it.
I'm looking at this after 12 votes and most are voting for... a change?
But yes, a few reactions would be lovely and I'm sure it would encourage those who don't usually write stuff to interact a bit more. I could easily do a hug when I wasn't sure what to say.
Reactions are better than upvotes in my opinion.
Just bumping this back up.
I have found on a different online community that while the reactions seem appealing, they actually lead to the majority of users only reacting rather than replying to eachother. It can be incredibly frustrating when you're seeking advice or support to get thirty-odd reactions and no proper responses at all.
Agreed.
I'm all for reactions. Upvote isn't always a suitable option for certain posts/comments. A reaction like a hug or sad would be perfect.
