I've never used kindle, where does it say autors name? it should be Nancy Kress. I don't remember the beginning, I read it 3 years ago, or something like that, and my philosopher friend has my copy

I usually get my books from ebay as well, musicmagpie or worldofbooks. Also where I get my dvds from :) 

I've never read a book in polish before. I'm not very good at other languages so guess I wouldn't get very far in lol.

I think you're right - I mean life is short and possessions should be used shouldn't they? No point in having them otherwise.

I've got a Narnia book I bought online and that one is worn, smells really old but charming at the same time.

I keep my books, over a 100 already, in plastic boxes I bought at Argos. I have 8 boxes 35 liter size of books. only half of one is in polish, all other in english. I buy used books in very good condition on ebay or amazon. the prices are around £2 per book.

I read it in polish when I was 15y.o. and my imagination system is based on invented by Suoer Chikdren communicatiion method for their personal use. Than I read it again some few years ago in english again. I do that with all books, In one language first, than after many years in another language again.

It turns out that translations into polish and into english are not the same, I noticed it first time reading Asimov's Fundation Series.

Books are made to be read and actually, a lovely old book that is clearly read over the years, very imperfect, is a joy to my mind.

I read a Kindle too because of eyesight problems.

Yes that is true and that also bothers me. I own a lot of books,proper books I mean, but I'm too anxious to read them because I don't want them wearing and damaged :/
