Prosecuted and convicted for autistic actions. Nearly killed as a result

lots not to do which is why my thoughts always turn to ending life. My aspirations all sound low importance to others

im looking for some way of using my brain and doing good with my expertise . My focus now is the misunderstood autistic people and how the law bullies us

For one, you should stop riding bicycles.  

I don't think it is groundbreaking to reveal that. We live in a society that knows these things and doesn't care to do anything about it. Especially not when it is a minority group mainly affected. 

At best you'll get a bit of coverage and be forgotten again. Even people murdered by authorities are quickly forgotten, if even acknowledged to begin with.

But I want to leave some story of the truth and how unfair the police and CPS can be. Just look at poor Caroline Flack. The authorities need to be accountable and even the police have been very bad recently, but experts at hiding things.

My family are all far away now as I try to get my remaining finance and help to them

There is a very high percentage of autistic people in prison, many of whom have not committed a crime , but are misunderstood.

Just look at Lauri Love and Gary McKInnon

Probably better to focus on your family if your life expectancy is short now. Money can only buy so much and I'm sure your family would prefer your attention to be on them in your last months/years than on TV programmes, legal battles and media reporting.

I doubt if I will be alive to enjoy any of it. I can barely walk now with severe brain damage and most of my spine broken.Life expectancy?1 year now.

Prior to this business I had a super fit 40 years ahead

a tv programme is making a film of me and the damage caused to me by the legal actions..

I have never coveted money but do want to live and have some family contentment and am aware how injustice has ruined my life.and my family 

I have worked excessively though and hardly saw my family during my working life

you are welcome to my money if you could recover my health fitness well-being and humiliating actions of the media and courts 

and of course all my family are likely to have premature deaths as well

look at Autism Research Centre and criminal justice, in Cambridge 

I am working with them now to try and help prevent premature deaths in autistic people. We do die many years early. With Simon Baron Cohen and 3 others, we are developing new systems to try and help. We meet every few weeks.

This is supposed to be for autistic understanding, not taking the bus

I can be as nice as pie any given day, but I'm at a loss as to how I can remain kind and polite on this topic.

That you have the audacity to say that you want to help improve the laws for autistic people..

Your pension is reported to be £1,800,000 of which you lost around £300,000 from poor financial advice. Your business worth £2,000,000... you're still very well off, as is your wife (I checked company house)... getting a little difficult for me to sympathize with that level of greed.

If you want to help improve thing for autistic people, stop using it as a personal excuse for attempting to use tor for nefarious activities. Move on. Stop fueling this delusion.

Sending a text asking for an appointment is hardly malicious and yet I was convicted for that!

the judge had taken against me from before the case began. He was specifically brought in from elsewhere for this case and was biased and unfair at every opportunity

I would be happy to talk. My problem was intrusive thoughts and egodystonic reaction. This is a classic medical issue and not a criminal situation but most people do not understand that.

the criminal justice system does not understand autism at all and we are easy targets to be convicted for non criminal acts.

there are lawyers who say they focus on autism, but I suspect virtually all just see it as a marketing item to earn more cases and money

it may be a Dave thing ,being another Dave , I am going  through a similar situation  and you are not the only one convicted of this .

Before I knew I was on spectrum ,doctors telling me to express my feelings ,write them down , tell people how you feel .  

Then you're arrested for telling the truth .....

I have no idea what to suggest ,but for myself , I've also hit a brick wall ,  my next step is to try and haggle some legal advice outside the law courts....

   Just a thought , there's got to be a solicitor , barrister. ,judge  who's on the spectrum ......who gets it !!!!!

Dave, I cannot imagine what it was like to lose that much money. I would have behaved desperately too in order to resolve that problem. I hope you can move forward in way which doesn't cause you further harm or distress. Did you lose your entire pension fund? 

But I am disabled dying lost my savings failed my family and and have time to try and help improve the laws for autistic people. Can't enjoy anything now and covid has added to that.

Now that you are retired, is it not better to live out your life as happily as you can and put this whole incident behind you? 

I did an appeal with the fact that my Barrister had not used the standard defence, which I had good reasons for communication, but he said that it was not used in court for Tactical reasons. The appeal court like to find reasons to reject appeals and they used his statement to beat down my medical and legal experts reports

I hope that you can find an independant journalist who can tell your story. Do you have no recourse against the conviction under the law?

1. It is but that is all misreported to  humiliate and cause distress and get the jury to convict. Spiralled out of control was it caused me to lose my business £2M and be nearly killed.
2. Journalists can make white look black 
3. The "victim" was a financial business, not an individual. The police used. A scam website to prosecute 2 in the UKbut wouldn't admit it was a scam fake website
4. The emails were sent to the banks complaints department. Only about 6 over 3 years. The text was polite asking for an appointment and stating my life was in danger. 2 weeks after a near death cycling accident with evidence of brain bleed on mri scan
5. Amazing how journalists and lawyers make good look bad
