CBD

Has anyone treated their anxiety with CBD successfully?

Curious, as I'm considering trying it again. So much is published now about its benefits, and a friend told me yesterday it's helped his wife tremendously. I'd love to just sleep for more than 4 hrs a night! Here's a video about its change in public opinion (this happens to be in Thailand, but the US and other countries have changed opinion on it as w

  • I found this too. The first time taking CBD oil was a great feeling of calm - but I never managed to re-get to that level of calm on further takings. It's interesting to hear of the other options that you and others are sharing here.

  • Passionflower and Poppies are also good for sleep. Gaia makes a Black Elderberry Nighttime Syrup with Poppies that seems to knock me out. I'd make sure to stay hydrated as extra vitamin C without enough water can cause Kidney Stones.

In the past when I lived in places where it was legal, I've taken a hybrid 1:1 CDB/THC for focus when I've had to do taxes or heavy admin as they are excruciatingly difficult tasks to do correctly.

CDB can vary and can also be expensive depending on the company. Apparently 25% of people have allergies to THC and the 100% Isolate is not yet legal in the UK, sadly (all isolates always have a tiny amount of THC). But, it won't hurt to try, though you may want to research brands and what you're willing to spend. My son noticed that when taken over a period of time he started to get ill more often and after some research, I found it does have an affect on the immune system, which can be good or bad depending on numerous variables. I only take it on occasion.

With my son, his sleep was affected by depression and anxiety. We found that Ashwaganda + enough sunlight and 1/2 dose of a multi daily made a huge impact.

  • No. I tried it for a while, but without success. It’s pretty expensive and the one I had said not to expect results for two weeks. You then have to take it continuously to maintain the effects. The issue with this is that you develop resistance to it quite quickly so then need to take more.

I have more success with Kannada. Which works pretty much straight away and you can start and stop it to reduce the chance of resistance build up.
