yeah there great artist thank you for sharing :)
hi aww thats nice :) ive never been to any Art Galleries. how many have you been to. paul gauguin's paintings have an interesting look to them. its really hard to think what my favorite painting is, i like van goghs portraits, as i love to draw or paint and sculpt faces.
My fav artists are Salvador Dali and Dustin Bailard.
I also like Jeff Koons playful sculptures.
Again I have many. I think Toulouse-Lautrec is ultimately my favourite. As a child I was obsessed with cartoons, that was my thing, possibly it was because cartoon characters and their over the top gestures was something I could understand more readily, as a pose to humans and all their subtle nuances. Many of Toulouse-Lautrec’s later works had that caricature element to them and so I was naturally drawn to them.
Like you, I have so many. BC (before children) I used to love going to Art Galleries as well as BC (before Covid). I'm hoping that post both of them, I'll be able to get back into visiting again. Do you have a favourite painting. I was trying to find the name of one I saw on Tahiti (I used to live out that way) by Gauguin which was just glorious.
