Really scary story

...Greetings. Probably not what You want to hear or indeed find at all scary... but during "Halloween" the scariest thing for Myself is non-scary Children, being given permission to enhance themselves with scary disgiuises, and to go forth unrestricted, to harass total strangers, asking of them to be given something Levulose-based or brightly-coloured... or else they threaten to do to that stranger, something *really* unhealthy...

Or maybe it is just My Autism...? (yet use the "search" or see the "related" section below for more Threads about "Halloween" and being anxious..?)

That was broad daylight.

My only night time one was using the downstairs loo at 3am to avoid waking anybody, but when I opened the door to go back to bed, I was confronted with a huge, metallic blue tunnel - made of the Mylar metallic balloon-type material that was shimmering - rather like the "O2 Priority - follow the rabbit" adverts.

I thought wtf?

But I could reach though the material on either side and feel the door frame - a bit like those 1970s laser disco effects.     The hole my arms made closed up when I retracted them..

I reached down and could feel the hall carpet - again, the hole closed when I stood up.

I stumbled out in to the hallway inside this shimmering tube/tunnel and followed it upstairs, reaching through the sides to feel the walls on the way, the holes again closing when i pulled my arms in.

In the bedroom there's a large cupboard one side and en-suite on the other so I could still feel both walls until I had to enter to main part of the room - somewhere in front of me is the bed-  but I could only see the inside of the tube -I carefully reached forwards and shuffled carefully to where the bed would be, got in and closed my eyes - all back to normal - the tube was gone..

Only happened once.....

yea that would freak me out   especially in a dark room 

I had a teensy brain injury some years ago and I had lots of 'hallucinations' afterwards  - like being able to see someone on the other sofa reading a book - dressed in chunky white jumper, work boots and jeans.      I could see them turning pages and crossing and uncrossing their feet - but if I looked at their face, they disappeared.    If I looked away, they reappeared.

Also, a little white dog playing in the hall in my peripheral vision - that disappeared if I looked.

Also, I was aware of people walking across the hallway - but they were too quick for me to look fast enough.

Creepy enough?

When I lived in fermanagh,  the home of picts, pagans, witches and Fairies...........yes a brother of my friend  who was called Theodore , disappeared 2/3 days before Halloween and re-appeared at the bonfire  saying he had no idea where he had been and could remember nothing  !
