Autistic Barbie....anyone?

NEW BARBIE RANGE INCLUDES DOLLS THAT USE WHEELCHAIRS AND HAVE PROSTHETIC LIMBS

Interesting idea?  Would a hidden disability // autistic Barbie be an option? Also, being made of some different types of plastic and vinyl  - a meltdown could be even more of a hazard?

As an autistic woman (self-diagnosed.. first assessment in less than 4 weeks) she also decide to be spending less of her time keeping her hair that blond, or obsessed with fashion and make up.  Her relationship with Ken may also look very different from an ND perspective?

Thoughts?

  • No, she’s got to be invisible. Most people will think there isn’t even a doll there and that the manufacturers are trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes but the enlightened ones will know there‘s a doll and they’ll buy it! Joy We used to play a game in Bali where you had to come up with the most ridiculous idea to sell to spiritual seekers. Just for fun as there were lots of very bizarre stuff over there.

I love the idea of the wellie wearing Barbie though, complete with bikini, hat n scarf and gloves and big shawl type thing! Laughing
