Hi all, I have a 14 year old son who is autistic, high function.
My question is: how do you explain what sexual assault is and what sexual assault is not?
I know this is a difficult subject for most but i need to be able to explain to my son when something is NOT a sexual assault as he seems to believe that any form of touch is a sexual assault.
We have attempted to explain this to him the best we can and we understand that he has difficulties in understanding this but i need to be able to protect him from this but also protect others from false accusations as i am worried that he is going to get someone in a lot of trouble.
Any advise would be greatly received. Thank you
