Just had MDA feedback. Both Psych & Salt agree HE presents with Female Autism. Trying to find information on that title?
But because of school, they are holding back diagnosis, apparently if they diagnose, school could challenge it?????
We would like to challenge school's view. His last primary knew him for 2 years and his current have known him 7 weeks at the point of MDA.
We are shocked a school can have so much control. What happens with those that are Home Educated? Would we be better Home Ed?
12 years we have fumbled our way through what works and what doesn't. We say Autism with a demand avoidance profile. We just need to get him the right support to give him the toolkit he needs to flourish in the wider world.
Anyone got any advice please?
