Has anyone had embarrassing crushes on cartoon/movie characters as a child/young teenager?
As a child, I had a massive thing for Jafar from Disney's Aladdin, lol. The Jafar fantasy carried on for quite a while when I was a teenager. My friends take the piss out of me for it, and I don't blame them! I also had a thing for Hades from Hercules. No accounting for taste!
As an older teenager, I developed a vampire obsession, and had a thing for Lestat from 'Queen of the Damned' and Gary Oldman as Dracula... oh dear haha
What are yours?
Anyway I should stop procrastinating on here and get on with my college work...
Sorry, what happens? This forum makes it hard to know which comment people are replying to
thats weird, no never had that
it even happens in online support for distressed/suicidal people ----
It is ridiculous IMO. The wrong way round!
I agree - I get to see a lot of late-night TV and it's all low-budget horror - blood and guts - just what you need to go to sleep to.
It's the old Victorian morality again - cannot talk about sex - kids get delivered by Storks or something..
Yep. I edit erotic fiction, nothing shocks me now. Well it didn't previously tbh or I wouldn't do this job!
Violence, gore and torture shock me more. It is ironic that people are shocked by sexual things but happy to watch any level of violence. That is the wrong way round IMO.
Frickin 'ell! What a weirdo.
We've lived a little - we used to edit an alternate lifestyle magazine - you really would not believe what people do behind closed doors.
If you can think of it, someone else already has - and there's a website and an OnlyFans dedicated to it - and probably a convention somewhere. .
the nature of wanting something for a very long time and never getting it is that you keep wanting it, even if maybe if you had had it you would have soon gotten tired of it. Even long after the chances of ever getting it start to get very small you still want it.
I had a gay friend, well he said he was gay, he sent me photos of his you-know-what in bondage gear, all tied up in leather thongs. Er...?
And *** pics, glorious *** pics (lol)! I once had some dude send me loads of photos of his poos, lmao
I will say, I do have a soft spot for Tricia Penrose, (Gina) From the TV show Heartbeat.
It's got so bad that you only have to have a social media account to get harassed these days, there is nowhere safe. 'Hi there, wanna chat' soon turns into sexual comments and stalking if you're not careful.
ok ---- u deserve a good man
Haha I am now
please be careful
As someone who used to love dressing provocatively when I was younger, the attention stops being fun after a while. I've had blokes following me home after nights out, had my drink spiked, etc. It's one thing to look and appreciate, but some people take it too far...

I agree. I think Martha Jones was great too along with Sarah Jane Smith
