does it make you feel good? ive been listening to the doors recently?gaz
Yes, it does. I listen to music for an hour each morning before I get up. I don't like getting up as soon as I wake up so this helps. I also use music to drown out unwanted noise. I call it music therapy…
Sadly since friend of mine use some WD40 on the doors they have been rather quite.
Was introduce to this song by a friend a long time ago, didn't get it back then but I've developed an appreciation lately.
Also listening to the likes of Greenday and Glassjaw, stuff from my youth…
My friend. Now we are talking. I love John Cale solo and everything else The Velvet Underground ever did.
Old Aged Performer who always seems to have great bands
There are a wholeload of lockdown special events online right now, A entire concert by Nick Cave in an empty concert hall that the Independent labelled as probably the future of concerts, for instance. But we'd have to pay for that., right now.
Here's a Youtube site instead.. Another one in the Cale orbit, I'm afraid. I got over the squeaky doors decades ago.
I'm becoming a bit apocalyptic.
Getting into Yanqui UXO by Godspeed You! Black Emperor - their 2002 album I have on iTunes and LP.
Don't forget the right turn at Lajola. ;)
I find that music helps me to relax no matter how stressed I am. I like everything from Progressive Rock to Folk to Black Metal and will be attending Bloodstock Festival next year which I am looking forward to :)
Also like them. Dead Flag Blues
Welcome back, mate!
I've missed the musical meanderings we had around last Christmas.
Thanks mate. Nice to chat again. I took my username from a norn iron band. Did i mention it?
It comes from a slang term for something bad;
From Irish. Apparently it referred to a bad piece of turf.
