There's now an Ian Curtis Mural at Port Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
Now listening to my friend's LP copy of 'Dirty' by Sonic Youth; which he gifted to me.
I like the Hammond organ sound as well. A lot of stuff is from the 1960s The Animals, The Monkees, The Doors etc.
This is one of my favourites just now:
Alan Hawkshaw 'Beat Me 'Til I'm Blue':

I also have an LP from an Italian Hammond Organ band called the Link Quartet.
Very fast-paced. Helps alleviate tension.
I listen to a lot of Metal as to me it soothes me.

I'm not in Worksop, no. Had the radio on tonight. Stuart Maconie's FreakZone.
Worksop?
Now, I'm listening to 'Dirty World' by the Travelling Wilburys. Double-entendre-laden song about a car.
My part of planet earth. I'm about 30 miles from there. Tindersticks are my favourite Nottingham band.
Bandcamp Friday today, and I bought a new album of recordings from Six By Seven - a Nottingham Band who had a Cult Following twenty years ago.
Music is a pretty big part of my life. I listen to a metal bands with dark, poetic lyrics, and it inspires me artistically. Every time I listen to a song, I go into a daydream about ideas for stories and drawings. It's a huge help for me creatively. Right now, I'm obsessed with the song Pisces from a band called Jinjer. Been listening to it on repeat all day and haven't grown tired of it.
People are strange, when you're a stranger.
Yes it does! And I love The Doors :)
Anyone ever heard of a guy called William Ryan Fritch? He's the most amazing ambient/cinematic artist, and am rather envious of his studio setup!

I love Heroes. Song and album. And Scary Monsters.
He grew up with Bowie - he's 56!
