I haven't noticed anything either.
I disagreed with a poster a few months ago and although I took a very long time to write my response in what I thought was a respectful way the OP took offense with my opinion and called me a troll. This was actually really insulting and hurtful as had I'd taken a long time to try and come across as polite.
Could your background and expectations be leading you to interpret things in a way they're not meant?
Hmmm... it's seemed pretty quiet and reasonable recently - you should have been here 6 weeks or so ago!
