my grandson repeats loops of numbers over and over any advice on reducing stimming ?
The problem with reducing stimming is that stimming has a purpose. He is most likely doing this to keep himself calm. So if you reduce the stimming, you may increase other behaviours. The only thing you can really do is try and replace that particular stim with something else. But if numbers help him to feel calm, I'd personally leave him to it.
Even my grandson does stimming a lot. But our therapist says that it will reduce with time.
