The reply buttons come and go. Sometimes they are there, sometimes they aren't. It is frustrating.

I know what you mean, I've been fooled so many times, I'm trying to learn to spot who is trying to fool me and avoid them. So I'm very suspicious of people.

I genuinely feel like I stopped in my 20s and I'm still naive

but I'm 41. naive and gullible. I noticed that is influencing my tendency to avoid eye contact, when I do I am even more gullible and struggle more to say no.

Absolutely same here I would have been diagnosed Aspergers if it was 10 years ago.

That helps, thanks! I think I was 'normal' when I was young but as I've got older, people have found me more and more weird and I think I've kind of stuck at a young age mentally. If that makes sense.

I try and keep away from legal documents for that reason, I couldn't bear it if I made a mistake and caused a legal problem. I try and stick to emails, blogs, fiction novels, reviews. But I won't rule out legal work if it happened to pay well ;)
