Hi everyone,
Thought I better say hello.
I am a 61 yo male who was officially diagnosed with Autism but due to COVID-19 not the specific yet. Suspect Aspergers.
It has explained a lot about my employment career, or lack of it.
Presently unemployed
Enjoy restoring/ driving classic cars and motorcycles. During the day I am fixing things around our small holding.
Yeah I put on sunglasses when it’s too sunny always take a pair out with me.
i wear tints over my regular glasses and have driving over glasses when driving et etc etc i have about 15 pairs !
Yes I am sensitive to light I don’t like sunlight it really gets to me yeah I’m a night .
are u sensitive to light ? cause I am and as I result I like night over day.
Yeah it’s annoying having to do that I do prefer this time of year nice and cosy winters I don’t like summer
just realised i havent adjusted the clockes in my house lol I'm away to fix them now before I make a big biunder tomorrow and turn up at a meeting at the wrong time
Absolutely the hospitality sector is done for. I don’t know what will happen next
same here my work can be tough in that i dont always know how to do things, but I, like u tolerate it and do think I am very lucky to have a job. Imagine having started your own hair salon or just opened a pub. That must be a nightmare.
Glad to hear it I tolerate my job I’m lucky to have one.
i work in th public sector as a software tester . I used to drive to work each day but now I work from home which is very different and I love it :)
Indeed where do you work?
i has seen people fall asleep at the wheel who work night shifts like you
Yeah I really don’t trust myself to drive I daydream and get distracted easily my family is always on at me to learn.
thats good
No I don’t drive taxi
do u drive to work ?
Only if I’m in before 6am so one hour today
do u get paid more for those late shifts ?
2 years it’s the job I hate least out of all the ones I have done.
