Newly Diagnosed, feeling unsupported

Hi.  My 6 year old son was diagnosed with ASD in January. I'm feeling rather unsupported at the moment and am unsure of the whole process. I haven't had this 'pack' that I am reading about on here. I have school who are having a number of issues and have put my son on a part time schedule with me home tutoring at home in support. They are pressing me to go back for a ADHD diagnosis as problems are spiraling and they have had an independent observation carried out on him by a ADHD specialist. I'm told that they cannot support him in school, that there is no funding for special school and I feel totally lost as to what to do so I'm just following their lead and going back to the Dr. Any advice much appreciated.
