A newbie, but not a newbie?

Hi y'all

I may seem like a newbie but truth is, I was only just diagnosed a month ago, I have been chasing one for a year and didn't feel fit to introduce myself if I wasn't exactly sure if I suffered from anything that fell under the ASD umbrella.

But, since going to a diagnostic service:

I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome/ Autism Spectrum Disorder

So, basics about me.

Name is Lucy, I'm 23 and Female
I suffer from other problems along with Asperger's such as;

-Severe Clinical Depression
-Generalized & Social Anxiety
-Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
-Dermatillomania

I work full time, and study part time In psychology (I hope to understand my mentality and heal myself, help people and pursue a career in a subject I have always enjoyed)
I live at home, due to previous circumstances regarding my depression where my family feel its best I live at home for the moment.

I like to cosplay, read, draw and listen to so much music I'm like a human shazam.
I have not yet understood my mentality in terms of Aspergers, im hoping others may help.

Nice to meet you all!

-Lucy

  • Hi Lucy, welcome to the board.

I hope all is well. And I hope your diagnosis is helping you.

I'm not up on Cosplay but am a fan of podcasts. Not that they are the same.

What do you like to read? and have you any example of your art? I love people sharing their talents.
