Stumbled across this by accident a few weeks ago, was walking through the park and stopped to give a hand when I saw someone clearing broken glass up. The gratitude of dog walkers was a real eye opener, and I left with quite a positive vibe/spring in my step. So I experimented with it a couple of days later, same again.
Now I go down there, stroll around listening to the birds and clearing what I may find once a week. I get a nice bit of chill time away from everything, the gratitude is relentless and my productivity greatly increased.
Was wondering if anyone else had weird tricks like this?
To be clear is this not remotely altruistic, entirely for my gain.
Getting paid to spend time with animals sounds like a pretty good deal I'd want to check on the sites' processes to make sure the people were trustworthy though.
Is that why their prime minister is called the tea-shock?
I think we have a tea-off brewing :)
Ireland takes tea-drinking to a whole new level. ;)
The Americans called the Mega Drive the Genesis.
(my brother religiously followed retro gaming videos on YouTube, back in the day)
I like the series of Golf and Sonic games.
Not had much chance to check them out yet, but there are a few sites where you can register and get paid to look after people's pets in their home while they go on holiday.
I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and felt really good after a shift there, but I don't have the time to do that anymore. It's a shame because I can no longer have pets now that I'm renting, so I'd love to be able to get back into it.
Jealous now, mega drive was my first machine. So many rpg's still left uncompleted.
Cool. I enjoy retro gaming. Usually on my mega drive or Dreamcast.
Well tea goes without saying, my gaming name is capt.bigmug
A cup of tea always reinforces my view that the world has some warmth in it. I'm very English haha
