I'm unemployed, no social life whatsoever, not even on the internet. I need someone to talk to stat. I don't care what about.
So do I. Films are my passion. I must watch around 300 a year. Many are re-watches. Some films I can watch over and over again and never get bored. 'Withnail and I', 'The Big Lebowski', 'Mystery Train', 'The Big Short', any of the Bourne films.
Really pleased with all the replies. I love talking film!
It is funny when Freddy does that, indeed.
Hills have Eyes rocks. Italian Zombie movies are good fun.
Yep. Nicholas Cage.
Can't really remember, to be honest. I remember that King himself was in it, playing a cameo as minister.
Martian Tom, what did you think of Brad Greenquist as Victor Pascow in "Pet Sematary" ?. He is one of my favourite actors.
'Knowing'... isn't that the one with that jaw-dropping plane crash scene? Yes, I enjoyed that film
I loved the remake of 'Dawn of the Dead' a few years ago.
The way Freddie Krueger runs and waves his arms about at the same time makes me laugh!. Some things that he says are quite comical too.
The end of civilization?
Try Knowing. Very, very haunting. Or any version from the book On the Beach.

Is that because you're in favour of the destruction of civilisation? I can cope with most horror, even J-horror, but zombie stuff can freak me out. I'm not sure if it's the idea of contagion or brainlessness or loved ones coming back to life, but I've walked out of a cinema during screening of an old Romero zombie film. I even found Return of the Living Dead pretty terrifying and it's supposed to be a comedy.
Anyway, to the OP regarding social life: have you checked out https://www.meetup.com/ ? Or if you're in a smaller place there may be a local events directory - where I am one comes out monthly and is distributed lots of places including the library. Now is also the time of year I start thinking about FE classes, although they're much more expensive than when I was your age.
I love horror movies. Especially the low budget ones made with cheap equipment, little known actors and improvised special effects. They are almost comical.
Examples are:
The original version of 'The hills have eyes'
Spanish version of 'Return of the evil dead'
All zombie films,. Usually fast moving and I'm rooting for the zombies.
I love movies, video games, books. My username is a horror movie reference that you're better off not getting. I do have a diagnosis,, got it when I was 20, 4 years ago.
Hello, welcome to the forum. What are your interests... if any?
Can you explain your unusual user name?
Yes, boredom and loneliness can both be agonising.
Do you have an autism diagnosis?
