Leaving UK one day

Looking at how my homeland is slowly rotting and falling into poverty, I have a life goal.  One day I will leave the UK and move to somewhere decent in Europe.

If not Europe then somewhere else that seems an attractive prospect, depending on infrastructure, quality of living, economy, culture and demographic.

Maybe I will be married by that time with luck.

I have also taken jobs and money into account by the way.

  • I left the UK over 20 years ago, and I wish you luck. I thought things were going badly in the UK too, never imagined the horror stories I hear now about the extremes of poverty and general dysfunction there are now there. Not that where I live is not without it's problems.

It's more difficult to do now in Europe now, of course. But the country I went to live in still meant I was third citizen, and immigration was.......... tough.

Which country would you consider moving to? What ki da of work would you take on?
