Not sure if anybody listens to radio 4? I put it on for the dogs when I go out, when I got back today I just happend to hear there's, what sounds like, a really interesting programme on Friday 11th,
Its called 'D for Diagnosis', its on at 11 am, sounds like they will be discussing how people feel about getting a diagnosis for a mental health or ASC and whether they found it helpful or not.
I'll be listening anyway.
I found it on iPlayer. The blurb mentions neurasthenia and homosexuality as labels that were used in history and how today's diagnosis will be seen in the future. I will listen to it in a bit.
I know one expert who thinks ASD will be self-declared in the future as gay people now choose their own identity.
