Yes I'm sorry to say that if my house burnt down I'd save my dogs first! I know that sounds really bad but its true, and this is probably the only place I'd get away with saying it!
I'm also a nurse and love my patients but still if the worst happened I'd save my dogs, does this make me a terrible person?
Actually, no. The last thing I'd want would be zombie humans.
Hmmm. Zombie Phombies. I wonder what they would be like :-D
The Dogs Trust posted this picture on Twitter - it made me smile because it's so true of me! Apart from a few special people my dogs have always been my best friends.
Priceless :-) I agree .... and most humans would be too busy looking at their smartphones to notice the impending zombie apolocalypse anyway, so you'd almost be doing them a favour ....
Well, that sounds "normal" to me .... I was watching something on TV the other day where one of the characters was handling their kids toys and looking miserable because the kid was missing, and it made me think that I suppose that's what it's like for people who feel the same way about their children as I do about my dog and 2 cats. I would definitely run into a burning building to save them, no question.
Nowadays I find that I get what I believe to be a release of oxytocin *only* when I cuddle a specific *one* of my two Labradors.
Well the last thing you'd want is zombie cats...
I don't have any humans or dogs to save, but...
No it doesn't at least in my opinion! My mother always says this as well, first the dog then my dad!
