Any adults in Wiltshire?

Oh yeah I have heard about that actually. Chippenham isn’t massively close to me either, plus socialising.. 

Hi. The process is different when you are an adult.  It relies primarily on you remembering your childhood.  I bought my mum and post diagnosis, she now understands why I was, like I was.

I am a 31 year old female in Wiltshire. I've been referred for assessment and have my first appointment in May in Devizes. I have a 4 year old son who was diagnosed two years ago with autism and my 3 year old to currently going through the process being diagnosed with autism as well. 

Really there needs to be a WhatsApp group or something for each area.  So we all kind of, get to know each other.

Also way too anxious to go to that social group although I do regularly receive the emails. I don't understand how I could possibly turn up to a social group where I don't know anyone haha.

His name is Richard Conlon and it’s called “AS we are Chippenham.  But I have been too apprehensive to go.  It’s a bit of a distance, it’s people, it’s not in my routine etc.  You know what I mean.

Didn’t know about the Chippenham outing group. How do I find more information on it?

Also to make friends with anyone who goes to the Chippenham AS outing group.  Sorry about the multiple threads.

I'm not from Wiltshire, but I'm right next to you in Hampshire. I would like to make some friends too in the local area as I'm new here and and don't have any friends either. And like you I'm not officially diagnosed but I'm starting the process today as the NHS way has been too frustrating because of it not going anywhere. I hope your experience with it is better? 

I'm in Wiltshire. From the psychiatrist putting in the referral to getting a diagnosis took 7 months.

Yeah Facebook can get addictive! Better to go outside. Think I’m addicted to this forum now instead! Yes, definitely!

I haven’t really been on fb much either now! Been trying not to log on as much and go outside or something. Oh that’s nice but very strange seeing them on there and here too!

I'm good thank you. Yeah odd seeing you here as well as on FB! Though tbh a couple of members of my group said that they might join the forum so I might end up seeing a couple of people in two different places!
