Hi Everyone, I’m working on figuring out a way that my relative can have an unrestricted experience on the Internet, while keeping him safe from online threats ie cyber bullies, scammers or self-inflicted ones such as purchasing a major item he can't afford or viewing violent and upsetting videos.
My relative is currently in residential living. He is high functioning in some areas and is well used to being on the PC and searching for things. It would be great to think he could safely access Facebook or forums to interact with people that share his passions (read; anything with an engine!).
Before I go too far down this path of working out a solution, I just wondered if there is anyone else out there who has similar concerns? Does anyone have experience doing this, and if so, what would you recommend?
