Autism / Education advocate

Im looking for someone to represent my child at a formal complaint meeting with secondary school where they have failed with their SEN provision. I can pay if necessary, but not legal rates. The listing on here is not very helpful and I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for the Oxfordshire area?

  • Hi NAS36927

Usually we recommend people contact our Education Rights Service who provide information, support and advice on educational provision and entitlements: http://www.autism.org.uk/services/helplines/education-rights.aspx  but I think you might find the IPSEA (Independent Parental Special Education Advice) website very useful: https://www.ipsea.org.uk/home

Just a friendly heads-up - The Community Forum is public, as a rule, we do not recommend anyone posts full names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.  That said, hopefully, you will have some advice from the community via private messages?  To turn on your option to receive private messages: Click your profile picture/emoticon (or circle, if you haven't chosen a profile pic); from the drop down menu, go to settings; scroll down then check the box that allows 'private messages'

    Hope this helps,
