Hi all,

New here looking for help and support regarding my autistic son Jacob. Will be posting a thread shortly. Hope someone can offer some advice to a very stressed and sad parent.

    I hope you find some support here, I wonder if you might edit out your son's name? It amazes me how many parents come here anonymously and then name, age and reveal where their children live.  Please don't feel like I'm having a go at you, just offering some advice on caution.  It is heart breaking to read some of the difficulties you parents face.

    Hi there.  You might like to read Susan Senator's excellent book 'Making Peace With Autism' - about a couple's struggle with raising an autistic child.  It's not cheap - but you can get copies for a few pennies on Amazon Marketplace.
