Hello everyone My 8 year old son is on Equasym XL 10mg while it seems to help quiet a bit It seems to work better sometimes more then others & he is still quiet impulsive or disruptive. I feel he possibly might need it increased however our doc seems to not want to increase anything.

I have noticed he is more emotional since starting the medication & suddenly gained empathy he lacked before. He's appetite is barely existent & he hardly eats anything. Also he has Meatonin to sleep but of course the equasym effects his sleep so this whole still effective is not workin has well as befor. 

Iv heard of both meds being increased but seems our doctor does not want to do this at all maybe because of the effects I have noticed already.

has anyone got any experience of this situation or advice?
