Just wanted to let people know last minute if you's happen to be swinging by Chavasse Park in Liverpool ONE tomorrow, i'll be hosting my autistic pride picnic between 11:30 am and 3 pm.
There's a schedule up on facebook and if it's okay with the mods, I'll link to the event.
We'll be heading to wetherspoons afterwards for an informal pint or two (or non-alcoholic drink if ya prefer)

so because this is a forum discussion, I'm gonna ask you's all a couple questions: what are your favourite autistic superpowers and are any of you's heading out to an autistic pride event over the coming weeks?
Alas, I think three hours of socialising had tired everyone out, so neither. Never even got to use my bottle opener.
There was some talk of doing some speeches at Speakers' Corner (and hoping no one tried to exorcise us). Next year maybe.
Hiya. glad you enjoyed the london autistic pride. been shopping in town today to prepare for the event. got some food sorted as well as some bowls and plates and cups and stuff. did yous end up doing the tube challenge or did yous just head to the pub instead?
Sound cool. Your link did come out quite right (you can edit posts if you click on 'More' underneath the message by the way): https://www.facebook.com/events/830081067188695/
Nice Autistic Pride picnic in London today, about 50 people, but a bit cold. First time I came across Dinah the Aspie Dinosaur and its author and inspiration.
I think my autistic superpower is being right ±, but probably everyone thinks that. Currently used to stop spammers.
(± give or take a confidence interval)
Have fun tomorrow.
