Hi I am very recently diagnosed & was told to apply for an alert card (which I have done)
I am wondering if anyone has found these helpful in airports, especially airport security?
I have to fly a lot & even though I do this regularly it doesn't make is any less stressful. I am hoping my alert card will help & am curious as to whether anyone else has had experiences with this?
I was watching "love on the spectrum" and one couple were off to visit the USA, the Autistic girl had some kind of a particular lanyard that she said meant that airport staff would be able to recognise that she has autism. Maybe look into that.
You can get one of these JAM cards free from this website

In Northern Ireland, we have a JAM (Just a Minute) card; open to any disability.
Hi there. Did you ever work this out? I’ve been wondering about how to even apply for one! How have you found it?
