I'm new here today,
I'm trying to go to my GP to be refered, but I just panic about not being taken seriously because my mum laughs at me for bringing it up.
OOps sorry cant delet it
Yeah, we can't delete our own posts, but the Mod's can...
Thank you Scorpion0x17 and good look v23 lokk at it this way what have you got to lose a doctor will never laugh:)
There's no need to worry. Posting your message here wasn't wrong. We'll sometimes move a post if it's in the wrong place, or more rarely close or delete it if it isn't going to work. But it's quite all right to post introductions and welcome messages in this part of the forum.
Welcome to the community!

This issue, Alex, was that the posts are in v23's thread, but weren't replies to v23's post, rather than them being in the wrong forum.
Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying that.
hi there v23
have you talked to your mum about how much this affects you? if you can try to explain it to her, about how important it is to you she might be more able to understand and be more willing to help you rather than laugh
she might not think it affects you very much, which is actually common thing with autistics, they dont 'show' how much something affects them very well
